Started in 2001, Album Surfboards has a focus on performance driven surfing and alternative shapes. Album Surfboards is a truly Californian surfboard company, with a showroom and headquarters in San Clemente and it's full production facility in Oceanside. Making one of a kind, uniques shapes and designs that improve your surfing and allow for more fun each session is what head shaper Matt Parker set out to do. Album is focused on speed and maneuverability through the development of clean lines, contours and curves. Through surfboard customization that tailors boards specifically to each individual, Album surf wants to create a world where every surfer is surfing the perfect board for their size, weight and ability. The stub-nose Sub and it's high performance brother The Riot are examples of how innovative and fun Album Surfboards designs are.

With continued experimentation and development of rocker, rails, outline and volume combinations, Album Surfboards want to create lines of surfboards that optimize any wave conditions and help surfers improve their skills. Some personal favorites of head-shaper Matt Parker include the Polyphonic and the Context, which are super lively, functional everyday boards. With performance oriented boards like the Destroyer, specifically dialed for good surf. With a wide range of stubs, shortboards, alternative styles and cruisers, Album Surfboards cater for just about everyone and are stoked to develop and experiment with new outlines and templates. Lately, providing 5 fin set-ups for most of his wide tail boards has been an aspect of Matt Parker's boards in order to create as much versatility for surfers as possible. Attention to detail and custom dimensions for each board is a prime objective of Album Surfboards who pride themselves on delivering boards as quickly as possible for their customers.

I'm 30 years old…6' 205 pounds looking for a board that's easy to catch small waves for a weekend warrior surfer. Any suggestions?

A fun board for sure. Definitely a great groveler for the weak waves here in Texas.
