Chemistry Surfboards

Chemistry Surfboards was created in 2001 by Jason Bennett and Michael Baron. Focusing on custom shaping and preserving a culture of youth and progressive surfing, the two surrounded themselves with friends and industry-shaping heavyweights to create innovative designs. As former surfers, the two have kept their boards focused on performance with progressive design in mind catering from beginners to the most advanced surfers. Popular models include the all-around performer Solution model and the Holiday retro twin fin with a modern flare.

The Robotwo is a board designed to give you an alternative feeling fish that is high performance. The single to double concave and wider tail keeps this board fast and loose, yet highly responsive to critical surfing.

The Robotwo is the perfect board for those below average days, or when you simply don't feel like riding your high-performance shortboard, yet still want the performance. Easily handling waves from waist high to overhead, mushy, clean, you name it this board is a blast. See more

4 x 4

The 4x4 has a straighter outline and slight bumps in the outline through the tail giving you a combination of volume out the back and control. The lower rocker gives you plenty of speed and paddle power. The 4x4 is great for getting down the line speed while still being forgiving out of maneuvers. For best results ride it as a quad. Young Buck

The Young Buck is the grom version of the popular Liquid Sword model. It features moderate nose rocker and lower rails for easier usability and sensitivity. The perfect all-rounder for the little shredder. This model is one of Chemistry's best sellers due to the lack of good grom models available on the market. See more

The Holiday model is the newest addition to the small wave and fish selection of the Chemistry range. It features a retrospective outline with a nice wide nose and a beautifully crafted swallow tail that you can't fault. The key attribute of this model is the deep single rocket channel that feeds off the tail. This kind of channel gives this model teeth so it feels more controlled and stable through turns. Whilst the holiday is designed as a twin fin it is also available in a range of fin set-ups so you can order it your way. The Holiday is great for all levels of surfers and is surprisingly versatile. Perfect for the alternate surfer who only needs one board. See more

Twin Fin

The Twin fin is based off an old curvy 80's template that features a slightly pulled in nose and a winged thumb tail. Shaper Jason Bennett has come up with the solution of deep vee between the fins to simulate the feeling of a small center fin. See more

Liquid Sword

The Liquid Sword generates plenty of speed with its relaxed rocker which also allows it to perform well in everyday surf. With a more narrow nose, this board gives you plenty of performance in 4-6 foot waves. See more

Summer Time

Built for exactly what the name suggests - The Summer Time. This board will have making the most of the weaker summer swells with all the necessary attributes to get you up and shredding when your standard shortboard wouldn't cut it. The single concave to centre hull channel out the back of the tail provides incredible drive in even the most gutless conditions. See more

The Solution is the most diverse model in the Chemistry range. It can serve as a beginner model in larger sizes and provide something completely different in a smaller size for the experienced surfer or alternatively as a mid length. The most unique feature of this model is the concave on the deck which makes paddling more comfortable and the feeling of control associated with having your feet closer to the water. Whilst it sounds strange the feeling this board achieves is something you need to try. See more

Beer Fridge

The Beer Fridge is a mixture between the Flashpoint and R2 models. It has more volume through the nose and tail offering plenty of paddle power and planing over fatter sections. The Beer Fridge goes best in smaller waves around the waist to chest high range or fuller waves around the head high mark. It's easy to paddle and a great option for those guys looking to step onto a shortboard shape that's easy to paddle and catch plenty of waves on. When ordering this model, you want to go 1/8" - 3/16" thinner than your normal shortboard as this model carries a lot of foam throughout. See more

The PS2 is the go-to retro fish of the Chemistry range. This board is great for novelty surfs or for when you want to have fun on those sub par days. Built to paddle great and fly down the line fast the PS2 excels on point break style waves. See more
