The Haydenshapes Merlot is another signature model by Craig Anderson. The Merlot has been designed for high performance surfing in small to medium waves. It maintains its performance when put on rail, through the large single concave to double vee. The hip in the tail loosens the board up, helping with critical surfing in the pocket.
The HS Merlot is best for performance surfing in small, punchy, playful waves, combining the perfect mix between performance, speed and response. The Merlot works really well in the pocket and is a great summer option for the surfer looking for something in between a fish and a high performance shortboard. Check out the videos below!
