While collaborating with Shaun Tomson, the bottom design was improved with the addition of a shallow single concave that leads into a unique vee split. This split creates a double vee in front of the fins, which continues to follow the rail behind the wing with a slight crown. The tail of the board features a slight convex, while the position of the wing and the back of the fin, in conjunction with the concave flowing through the wing, creates solid and precise turns. The rail line has a similar foil to that of a modern high-performance shortboard, making it suitable for a variety of surf conditions, not just small waves.
