As anticipated a massive ocean swell rolled in for the Boost Mobile Margaret River Pro this year. Delivering 12ft+ sets and leaving contestants scrambling for their step ups.
Although that initial swell has subsided at Marg's Main Break, organizers are hoping that the conditions now line up for "The Box". A slabbing reef break further offshore makes for some of the most entertaining viewings the sport can offer.
