The Black Baron HYFI 3.0 is the summer addition to the JS Surfboard range. The design takes the classic speed and drive of a traditional twin fin surfboard and tweaks it with high performance attributes to make it insanely shreddable. With volume in all the right places, this small wave surfboard will help you get in early and fly down the line into big stylish manoeuvres. Vee throughout the board from nose to tail makes provides hold in steeper sections simulating the feeling of centre fin. The JS team have tested it all around the world from J-Bay, Hawaii to back home in Aus and are loving the new feel in all sorts of conditions.
The HYFI 3.0 construction is a unique Epoxy Technology. It will make the surfboard feel like it has extra pop, there is the perfect amount of flex and stiffness in all the right places.

The Black Baron twin is so fun! I rarely take out the thruster anymore, it’s my go to board in any condition. I’m running the JS FCS II Power Twin fin setup. Handles over head waves with ease. Easy paddler, and has lots of drive. Order your board a few inches shorter than your normal shortboard. You won’t be disappointed. The best thing about it is you’ll have more fun and you can still do your progressive moves or just lay back and throw some style into it. You may even be leaving your thruster in the closet too.
