Point Break Waves

There are many different types of waves that are surfed. Point Break Waves are some of the most fun wave set-ups you can surf. They break off a defined "point" on land and wrap around, feeling the bottom of the sea floor as they wrap. Point Breaks are more predictable than beach breaks due to their structure.

The point break wave is usually a little easier to surf as well and can run much longer than other types of waves. Depending on the size of the swell, point breaks can be surfed by most styles and shapes of boards with success.
