Home surf break is on the East Coast of the U.S., central coast of North Carolina. I have to say this is one of the most fun surfboards I've ever owned. I thought it was going to be a typical 8ft log: turn, trim, and cruise. BUT - that is not the case with the Solution by Chemistry. This board definitely has performance board characteristics. I'm able to do pretty much my shortboard maneuvers like round house cutbacks, floaters, ride the barrel, and even some side-slip 360's. I'm riding the Solution with Future Twin Fins with a stabilizer. Incredible float, lots of paddle power for early take offs, and tons of fun packed into the Solution by Chemsitry. Highly recommend this board especially for east coast surfers.

The first thing I noticed about this board was when I took my first few strokes while trying to catch a wave. It flowed much better than my old board and I was able to catch the wave with ease. This board was perfect for the New England waves where it ranged from 1ft to 10ft on my best day. The board has great control and stability. It was a fun board to ride. Not only was the surfboard fantastic, Boardcave did a great job packaging it and shipping it to me. I will definitely go through Boardcave again for my next board.

Feel like it’s a great board for a beginner surfer. I found it quite easy to paddle and stand up in small-medium waves as it offered a lot of buoyancy and stability. Having never surfed before, that was my first board, and i had a great time learning on it but I feel like it wasn’t the best choice for someone with 0 experience. I feel like it’d better be used as your second board as it’ll allow to have much more fun when you have some experience.

i love how fast it turns and its movability. it has been the board that I ride most of the time. overall a really great board!

Perfect for smaller days when you still wanna ride a “shortboard”. Full template with beaked nose perfect for that little extra paddle power when it’s slow, or to get you in early when it’s good.

I stretched and thinned this model out and it is still very nimble and fast for its size. It’s so much fun it’s almost hard to surf anything else!

I think this board has everything you need to get out on the surf comfortably and consistently. Do you ever paddle super hard just to get out there and catch a bad wave? Luckily for you you've stumbled across this review which will tell you all the great things that this board has to offer. Including the consistency and effectiveness when it comes to catching waves. It provides a smooth and quite slow motion kind of experience. Since the body of the board is a bit wider than most you could just take a break out in the ocean without feeling like you're going to sink. Overall if you'd like a boat in the shape of a surfboard than this is most definitely the board for you. It's an experience like that of floating on air.

Best board I wanted to ride for a long time. A bit larger size, which I like, but good movability and speed.
