Pretty solid board, easy to catch waves, and works pretty well in small and poor conditions too. I wish I got it few inches shorter than my height though.

Great all around board for most conditions. Beware: a bit of a "quiver killer." I like the extra volume feel it has and the mid wide-point being further up, but that's not for everyone understandably.

This board has been my go-to during the mushy Socal summer swells. Gets into everything and you can give the longboarders a run for their money without needed to carry a tree around with you. My wife is also progressing nicely with this one too. Spread the stoke.

Bought this for solid (6-8ft) Ocean Beach and so far it has not disappointed. Good paddler to get into the waves, and sufficient rocker for steeper takeoffs. Happy so far.

I strongly recommend to anybody thinking to buy one of this to FIRST demo the board. This board is very different regarding shape and materials. So, your normal volume, shapes, fins might or might not work for you. In my experience, I went little high in volume. I normally surf with 30.5L, so I was recommended to go with less than that, but I went actually higher with 31L expecting an extra paddling power in power waves. However, on one side, I felt lack of paddling, and on the other side I felt a very good buoyancy to perform the turns. As a conclusion, this is the first board that I know I went wrong with size, however I don’t know if I should have gone higher or lower. So, I will have to demo the 5’7 and 5’9 to have a final verdict.

This board is beyond money and it knows it. Once you ride it, you’re hooked. I was coming off a Seaside & Beyond and wanted to preserve paddle power while improving to a short board. Well the Hypto Krypto is perfect. It gets you in early, it holds the rail, and it flies down the line...and it’s a good looking board. I can not recommend this stick enough. I’ve had in in waist high fair conditions and a little overhead clean Hurricane Teddy swell here in NJ, and it rips through it all. Do yourself a favor and get one.

I got this board to step down sizes from a 6'2" funboard. It is the perfect board to learn how to shortboard due to its stability and paddle speed. The board is a solid build and lasted me a long time (3 years) of consistent years with little repairs to the bottom and fin box. The only issue I have with the board is that it is very slow unless waves are at least 5 feet. Great board especially to learn turns on.

Super sweet short board for all skill levels. Great for small waves but can definately be used for bigger. Good board to start learning big tricks on.
