Have been back into surfing the past few years since my son started surfing. Recently got this board after surfing a big guy short board. This board was exactly what I needed to progress again. Lots of paddle power for a bigger guy like me, but also really responsive and maneuverable. Really allows me to enjoy the heavier beach breaks with early entry and quick turns. Has really improved my surfing. The quality seems really good, solid feel, so far very few pressure dings on the deck which is a good sign for a bigger guy like me.

I have found it to be loose with hold on the open face and can skip across flat sections really well. I think this is a great board for older, bigger guys that aren’t ready to give up short boards just yet
