I ordered this board to have a little bit more volume than the stock model and also ordered it as a quad set up. The recommended volume increase didn't seem to get put into place as as it sinks a bit more that my other boards at the same volume level. The board definitely rides fast and loose like a fish, but has the maneuverability of a traditional shortboard. I would say that it has characteristics more like a short board than a fish. I am not so sold on it as a quad set up though. The rail to rail turns seems to have a bit of drag and bite instead of flow when in the quad mode. These are my two complaints about it, other than that it is a fun board that I like to ride in waist high range waves.

Super fun little board a great all around board for the waves here in SoCal. Gets into the smaller waves okay and is rideable. Best when the waves get 3+ feet. Is my go to board when I am not sure what bring down to water. Paddles okay for a short stubby style short board. Has great mobility and draws out good lines for carves and snaps. Recommendation is for intermediate riders wanting to start breaking into more short and performance driven boards but doesn’t have consistent good waves there local spot.

This is a great board for typical Southern California surf. I surf it at Trestles and works on most days. Surprisingly, on small to medium days, it goes great as a twin fin with a trailer - this is my go to setup with this board. It has a great balance of easy turning without being too loose. A very stable board that is easy to get up on and going fast (due to its single concave from chest out through the tail...no v at the tail like most boards of this shape). The shape just works without any fancy frills, channels, cut outs, or hips. Great board for the normal everyday surfer that doesn’t need anything flashy, just something reliable that won’t mess up your waves.

Worked out really well for paddling and had good maneuverability. Transitioned effortlessly from rail to rail.

Use this board for those better than average days or higher tide larger swell stuff. Love it. I have ridden a few other fishies and really appreciate the performance packed in this outline. Almost wish I went with a quad, but the aesthetic of a twin feels so right. Got this thing as a custom and feel I got everything I wanted out of it. Radical fish to turn. Speeeeeed down the line. Fun to go backside and grab that rail. Can handle some barelling pretty well. Fun fun fun! Side Comment: Surprisingly sharp everywhere. I've kicked my feet on the swallow tail a few times and its left me a cut serious enough to not be able to wear shoes for almost a month.

Got this one as a custom. Took a chance on it but had a lot of fun on a Rocket Fish by Panda so rolled the dice. Rad board. Thought I would have some trouble getting into more docile waves but it is surprisingly fun in mediocre surf. However, this board excels in great waves. Super rad to turn. Can handle the critical drops. Fast. It is the board to keep ultra fun waves ultra fun. Love it!

This bored is literally so awesome bro, I’m a semi beginner and I got this bored and now I’m like way better than I was before. This bored can be used for like any skill level. I’ve used this bored for like 2 years. Definitely recommend.
