The Mineral SPF 50 Lotion -8oz by Vertra offers excellent sun protection while helping your skin stay healthy by keeping it hydrated. The SPF 50 lotion is formulated using a special blend of natural antioxidants and minerals to prevent free radical damage caused by harmful UVA and UVB rays.

All Vertra sunscreen products are mineral based with "non-nanotized" zinc oxide or titanium dioxide. These "non-nanotized" ingredients measure 100 nanometers in diameter or more making them safe for coral reefs. Chemical based sunscreens with nanometer readings below 100 are considered microscopic and pose a danger to the environment because these can easily be absorbed by reefs and marine life.
