Aipa
Ben Aipa founded his shaping brand Aipa in 1970 after leaving his mark on the industry in 1968, by making the board that Fred Hemmings used to win the World Championship. He's the inventor of the double edged swallow tail design and split tail design and was inducted into the Surfing Hall of Fame in 1992. Ben has used his knowledge to assist with training and advice for many top surfers and in 2004, Surfing magazine named him one of the top 10 shapers of all time.
