I mostly ride a longboard, but when waves get too big this is my go to board. I tried it out as a quad when the waves were smaller and my pop up was too slow for it to really work for me. I ride it as a thruster with FCS Sally fitzgibbons fins when waves are head high and it works great. It doesn’t paddle as well as my 72 L longboard that’s why I gave a 4 out of 5, but it’s fast and stable and it turns when and I where I want it to turn. I think if I lived at the ocean instead of the Great Lakes this would be my every day board.

Great paddle power, especially with extra bit of foam towards the nose. Ride it as a quad and feels pretty skatey, but can lean hard into bottom turns without feeling like it's going to slide or skip. Rocker is super flat, wish I had gone even shorter

Love the board, my wife gave me this board as a present and I love it, the response and the maneuverability of the board is great, this is the board that fits perfectly to me for the kind of waves that ee have here in Puerto Rico. In the times that we are currently living surfing is one of the only things that we can enjoy in our beatuful island!!! Lets go surfing!! Yiuuuu!!

John’s a master of his class. There’s a reason everybody on the north shore ride his boards.

really fun board! I live on the beach east coast and although it does have less paddle power than my regular short board this board carves and snaps still in small waves. Also keeps good speed on an open face. I sold this board about 5 months ago though and i would get another.

Great board. It’s very versatile, I have ridden it up to 5 feet in a solid cyclone swell with no issues. It also works well in small surf. I have the EPS and I have tried it as a quad and a 2 + 1. I like it as a quad best with the JJF fins up front and the QD2 rears. I have also tried the Rasta quad and the Rasta 2 + 1. I probably could have gone a couple of inches shorter as I didn’t realise how well this board paddles. I am very happy with the Pyzel quality and I have since bought the Ghost.
