Excellent paddling power enables you to catch waves easily. With a larger thruster fin set up, this board is excellent in large surf and is perfect for the North Shore winter surf (holds a rail and great drive in overhead hollow waves). In smaller waves, it can seem a bit sluggish but turning and maneuverability in small waves can be significantly improved utilizing smaller stiffer fins such as “Black Stix”. The “Electrolyte“ option is very light but the deck indentations will appear after the first few sessions and completely cover the deck within 6-8 months (although the deck dents don’t affect the great performance of this excellent board).

This board was really awesome and well worth the money. This board really lets you maneuver in the barrel well but at the same time allows you to get into waves easily.

This board is so legit. The Padillac is my go to board for anything overhead to double overhead +. It is a beast of a paddle board in heavy surf. The wide point forward is super helpful for getting in early and I rarely have late drops on this rig. Feels good to get ahead of a monster and not have to worry about air drop madness or getting pitched into oblivion. Since the board is so thick, you can feel the stability under your feet. It takes off super fast and despite being a big wave board, I can still rip some solid turns off the top. The tail is pulled in and hella thin, so you can ride smaller fins. I was originally charging with AM2 tech flex quads and quickly swapped for the EA quads which felt a lot better. I don’t really have any complaints about this board.. Pyzel nailed it. If your thinking about getting one... do it. You won’t regret it.

Beautiful board for European waves. I’m 6.3 and got a 6.1 which has been perfect. Nice volume to get into waves but still high performance. Loved it for my Portugal winter. You can put so much pressure through the turn and I find it holds beautifully and enough rocker for those steeper days. Love it

Love the board, my wife gave me this board as a present and I love it, the response and the maneuverability of the board is great, this is the board that fits perfectly to me for the kind of waves that ee have here in Puerto Rico. In the times that we are currently living surfing is one of the only things that we can enjoy in our beatuful island!!! Lets go surfing!! Yiuuuu!!

Good overall board, holds good rails in bigger surf. Has a wide body that helps for paddling into waves but for some surfers who prefer more narrow boards go a tad more narrower than you usually would. This is my fav board for double overhead surf.

Such a good board. First drop in on this board ever felt like I've been riding it for months. It paddles into bigger surf well and drives down the face. Have ridden it in both thruster and quad and its works great in both.
