Have an older version of this board, a demo board from a competition that somehow ended up at a local shop. I’ve used this board in all conditions and it’s handled it all really well with no complaints. The board feels much shorter than it is because it’s not the typical heavy stringer whopper of a long board like the traditional Robert August’s but is much more performance-ey.

I have a slightly older model of this board. I absolutely love it. I often choose it over my fish. It rides more like a fun board than a 9’ longboard. Very fast. I use a tri fin set up and have yet to try a large single fin. The board has a great bottom turn that really grabs. I’ve had a few late drops that just stick and set up down the line. Still working on my nose riding and cutbacks. Very easy to catch waves. Not quite buoyant enough to knee paddle but I’m 6’ and 185 lbs

Logging like the good old days, but with a twist! It’s pretty flat, pretty fat, super wide, but handles with ease due to it’s intricate concaves and quick release of water off the squash tail. Extra fun but still gets it done with power. Worth it!

I love this board and know exactly why he named it thus. It is my automatic go to and pretty much all conditions. After surfing on a high performance longboard for a few years and finding myself constantly struggling not to ride it like a shortboard I switched to this thing and haven't looked back. I don't care what size the surface, I can always ride this by simply switching fins. Most of the time I'm on a pivot fan and keep it front and loose. It turns off the tail really well and nose riding is a piece of cake. I say this after having stopped surfing for 15 years and giving up on nose riding at all on previously mentioned surfboards. Suddenly I am back at it and one of the best nose riders in the water where I surf. This board is made for making quick turns in the pocket. It is not for carving long turns as it has a pretty soft rail on the tail. But seriously, this is a longboard that was designed by somebody who has designed many many longboards and figured out the ideal shape. Aside from the fact that we are all obsessive about boards, this could be a one board longboard quiver and should be for anyone who wants just a single great longboard.

A little more narrower than my other longboards, the board paddled well and was very maneuverable in waist to chest-high waves. Just a fantastic board!

This is definitely one of my favorite surfboards and one of the best I have ever surfed. It makes maneuvers and tricks so easy. This board helped me advance from beginner stages to a confident intermediate and has been great ever since I got it. I have used it for so long and it never lets me down.
