Got the HYFY version in 5"5, couple more liters than usual volume. Set up with Power Twins + trailer. What was supposed to be my groveler for small days has turned into my favorite allrounder. It shines in small surf, and flies in good conditions. When conditions are clean, it doesn't mind a bit of size and curve too. I surf it confidently in well overhead hollow conditions here in Bali. It paddles into waves too easily, and turns on a dime. I've also tried the PU in same dims, and the HYFY is def more lively. Chop isn't too much of a problem either, surprisingly for an epoxy construction. Fin wise, I've tried it as a tri and quad but to me it feels magic as 2+ 1. This board should be in every quiver. It always puts a smile on my face. I'd be keen on trying the Black Baron too, but I feel the versatility of the Pyscho is hard to beat with fin placement options, and honestly, I love the surfing it allows me to do on it for such an easy shape. 10/10, just buy it, you won't regret it.

Amazing and fast all around board for most waves and conditions. It can handle overhead surf and it has a lot of pop and projection out of turns. My daily driver

The raging bull is the perfect all round board, it performs at its peak in waves sizes where its still fun, it has the perfect rail shapes and tail for nice arcs and fluid re-entries , and is a board both the serious and part time surfer will enjoy.

This board is crazy fun, especially when the waves are sub par. Personally, I am a fan of the Black Baron in punchyish smaller beach break (Ocean Beach, SF when small). Even when it is sloppy and onshore this is my go-to. If you are considering this versus the new Red Baron, I would 100% go with this board. The paddle power is good enough to get into smaller waves and the speed generation off the epoxy and V in the tail is crazy fast. I would recommend some upright performance twin fins, as it lets the board get speed and keeps it a little tighter. The stab Black Baron joyride review gives a really great overview that I 100% agree with. Overall, ride the board from 1-5 foot surf, especially during the summer/spring. Exceptional pop, release, and maneuverability - I cannot recommend the Black Baron enough.

This is a very fun board. I fell like I can catch almost every wave in nearly any conditions. I've used it in up to 8 foot waves and can tell it lacks the critical speed to make it down the line in some tubes. I feel that it is perfect for about 4-5 ft waves. At times it can be a little difficult to whip around as I am progressing to attempt airs.

This board is amazing. Took it out on a medium size day and caught sooo many waves. Set it up right now as quad and is super stable. Looking forward to more great days on this one.

great board for good surf can be ridden in smaller surf but doesn't have the same performance, all around its a great shortboard you cant beat it.
