Absolutely 5 stars. I purchased my Ghost specifically for the cold, big(ish), full-on wetsuit Winter days...and perhaps the ofd hurricane swell of the Fall. At 6.2 and 200lbs (before the wetsuit goes on) and 60+ yrs old, I wanted, and got, paddling power, drive and stability which the ghost more than delivered. My only suggestion would be to slim down the rails just a bit...would sacrifice some volume for added grip on steep drops and carving turns but trust me when I say that is speaking more to my own limitations than anything to do with this well-balanced board. fcs2 Accelerator Large; typically set up as a quad

This is one of the most versatile boards I have ever ridden. It can drop into steep, heavy waves with a ton of stability. The med/low front rocker allows for plenty of speed in smaller waves while the higher back rocker allows for nimble responsiveness and clean turns. This is my go-to board because it helps me feel confident in all kinds of surf!

Excellent paddling power enables you to catch waves easily. With a larger thruster fin set up, this board is excellent in large surf and is perfect for the North Shore winter surf (holds a rail and great drive in overhead hollow waves). In smaller waves, it can seem a bit sluggish but turning and maneuverability in small waves can be significantly improved utilizing smaller stiffer fins such as “Black Stix”. The “Electrolyte“ option is very light but the deck indentations will appear after the first few sessions and completely cover the deck within 6-8 months (although the deck dents don’t affect the great performance of this excellent board).

Such a good board. First drop in on this board ever felt like I've been riding it for months. It paddles into bigger surf well and drives down the face. Have ridden it in both thruster and quad and its works great in both.

I love this board. I've gotten some of the best waves of my life on it. I think it is best in the barrel and laying into the rail on turns. It is very reactive and quick in the tube, which I like a lot. Also it's really good at chipping into the wave early if there's some back wash from the side. The rails hold really well, even when going fast. If I had to find something to complain about it would be that when the waves are flattening out a bit in between sections and I don't have a lot of speed, I have trouble making enough speed to get over to the next section. Also this board holds super well, but that makes it difficult to break out the tail, in my opinion and doing blow tail style maneuvers would be easier on a squash tail board I think. However, I rather do rail turns anyway and I love this board a ton. I love when the waves are good enough to take it out.

Honestly just started trying out this board. But based off of first impressions, it was really drivey down the line and great for bottom turns. It’s a great board for rail to rail surfing and for the price. I DEFINITELY GOT MY MONEY’S WORTH!!
