Glass On Fins

Glass on fins had long been the standard on all surfboards until the surfboard fin box was invented, allowing surfers to interchange their fins and test new templates. While the surfboard fin box is a great invention for that matter as well as the ease of travel, the glass on fin still remains the best feeling with regards to the performance and feel of a singular fin template to your board.

Glass on fin templates are still available through most of the major fin companies such as FCS, Futures Fins and Captain Fin Co., and can be requested on many custom surfboards. Though available for all styles of surfboards, you will generally find most glass on fins suited more to longboard surfboards, single fin surfboards and retro fish surfboards.
