Took this board to g-land and had solid 4-10 ft waves.. Mainly surfed as quad and it went really well.. Highly recommend the monster for hollow powerful reef break.

The wider round tail is great for stability and manoeuvrability.

Provides easy rail to rail transition. Should have paid more attention to the engine and got it a little bigger, went 27.5 litres and should have got more like 30 litres.

At this size, this Monster is a fantastic option for the bigger surfer. It takes off and turns really well and has tonnes of speed especially in bigger surf. I prefer this board to my DHD 7'0 Monster which is also a great board. I've only down rated the quality a little as the base has started to get fine cracks around it. I love this board
